hi there, i’m rachele terranova

Thanks for making your way to my website !

I’m a reporter and documentary photographer born and raised in a tiny town outside of Boston, now based in New York City.

I graduated Cum Laude from Savannah College of Art & Design in may 2021 with a BFA in Photojournalism. following graduation, I spent time in Chios, Greece working in admin & in the field at an NGO (Offene Arme e.V.) supporting and providing crucial aid to migrants & refugees— while also creating my own project learning the stories NGO workers overseas in such a crisis environment.

I aim to focus work focuses on human rights, women’s issues, personal identity, & environmental & social justice primarily photographing on film. I rely on this medium to focus on telling the deeply honest, conflicting, human perspective of these issues through long form photo essays stories.

I currently am a graduate student earning my Masters Degree in tTeaching Art Education.
